Reign

Reign

You,
Your voice.
It rips,
Rips me apart like the predator rips the prey.
Tearing its sinewy muscles from its bones;
Hanging strings of bloodied tendons.

You,
Your eyes.
That riveting glare of hate,
Hate like the ever-reaching arm of pestilence.
Plaguing its surroundings with a resplendent gleam --
The gleam of grime and dusty incandescence.

You,
Your very being.
Relishes in the desire of destruction,
Destruction like the raging war of the heavens.
Pouring forth the blood of the angels;
Smudging the iridescent snow of the fallen.

Your presence,
An abomination to mankind --
Raping the truth from the blind.
Who are you to seek for solace,
When you wreck the peace of the given?

Your unscrupulous ways and conniving thoughts,
Enter the minds of the beguiling innocent.
Not a single fleeting moment of miniscule observation,
Simply raid us, and raid our fear for a higher power;
Raid our sanctuaries like the beast and its forray.

Raid our minds of the willingness for Freedom.
