Tears
You've told me lies,
Once and again.
You said to trust you,
And so i did.

I sold you my heart,
And you accepted with greed.
I told you my stories,
Yet you couldn't care less.

I dried my face,
And put on a smile to hide.
You wonder insincerely inside,
but never cared to ask.

I cried till my eyes were sore,
Day and night.
But things were not any better.

I told myself to sew my pockets,
But your words tore them apart.

Finally I realized how foolish I was,
But I knew there was no turning back.
I've done the deed and gone with it,
nothing would ever change.

Now I cry no more,
I've dried my tears and I won't go back.
I see no need to do so.
For all i feel now is but the anger,
coursing through my veins.
